Designed with a patient-focused care philosophy, Group Health Cooperative's new Bellevue outpatient specialty center is located adjacent to Overlake Hospital's campus. The new facility features an outpatient surgery center, clinical laboratories, radiology/diagnostic imaging rooms, and a pharmacy.

Coordination between Group Health, Overlake Hospital, WSDOT, and the City of Bellevue on this complex urban site proved meaningful to the success of the project. Much of this stemmed from the bisection of the site by a new road deemed necessary by the City and a patient transfer tunnel that connects the medical center to Overlake Hospital's new South Tower.
