Swedish Medical Center is developing a new campus in the Issaquah Highlands to meet the needs of the area’s rapidly growing community. This new campus, comprised of a 175-bed community hospital; attached 200,000 square-foot medical office building; and adjacent 16,000 square-foot Central Utility Plant, will provide accessible care to patients in the Greater Issaquah/Sammamish area and augment the healthcare services offered by Swedish in the region.

Key elements of the site plan were vehicular and pedestrian circulation, entry sequences, parking, and the ease of wayfinding through the campus. Because the project is in the Issaquah Highlands, working seamlessly with the MDRT process was critical to success.
