Happy Hollow is a zoo and child-oriented amusement park located within Kelly Park in San Jose, California. The expansion involves creating a new north entrance and children’s area within the zoo.

There are 12 new wood and masonry buildings including ticket booths, a gift shop, guest services building, concessions area, animal education building, animal care facility, and an interaction barn (petting zoo). The expansion also includes separate concrete animal enclosures for goats, wallabies, and lemurs.

The expansion received LEED Gold certification.
