Emerald Heights Master Plan, Seattle

Services: Structural
Completion: 2010
Client: Rice Fergus Miller Architecture & Planning

The Emerald Heights Retirement Community began master planning efforts for future building renovation and expansion projects. The campus consists of several dozen multi-story residential buildings for independent living, support and amenity buildings, and a skilled nursing/assisted living facility.

Structural evaluations of existing buildings, coupled with knowledge of building department requirements, significantly contributes to the decision making processes for future use of the existing facilities.

The master plan for the campus is rapidly developing into a series of phased projects for several new building projects, as well as additions and renovations to several existing structures.
